Municipal Affairs delegation hails Al Hamriyah’s development efforts

Sharjah 24: As part of strengthening institutional integration between government entities in the Emirate, Al Hamriyah Municipal Council and Al Hamriyah Municipality received a delegation from the Department of Municipal Affairs, headed by His Excellency Engineer Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Department, and attended by His Excellency Sheikh Engineer Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the Department, and a number of officials.

The visiting delegation was received by His Excellency Humaid Fayez Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of Al Hamriyah Municipal Council, and His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, in the presence of members of Al Hamriyah Municipal Council and a number of officials from both sides.

Organising the Work System

The visit, which took place on Wednesday at Al Hamriyah Municipality headquarters, saw discussions on a number of topics of mutual interest and an exchange of views on ways to develop the municipal work system.

This will contribute to supporting the strategic directions of the Emirate of Sharjah, improving the quality of services provided to the local community, achieving sustainable development, and enhancing the quality of life.

At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency Humaid Fayez Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of Al Hamriyah Municipal Council, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Engineer Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Department of Municipal Affairs, and to the department and all its staff for their continued commitment and diligent follow-up of all municipal services, as well as their interest in developing and upgrading them.

Improving Residents Life

This reflects the Sharjah government's vision to improve the quality of life and enhance the well-being of citizens and residents across the emirate, particularly Al Hamriyah.

For his part, His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, praised the Department of Municipal Affairs' commitment, headed by His Excellency Engineer Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, to diligently monitor all municipal services across the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, and its commitment to improving performance and enhancing the quality of life in the community.

Al Shamsi emphasised that these field visits represent direct support for municipal efforts and reflect the societal vision of the Emirate of Sharjah, which aims to achieve sustainable development.
