Sultan Mohammed Bin Huwaidin Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Department of Municipal Affairs (MAD), affirmed that honouring seniors in the UAE is a genuine embodiment of the nation’s core communal values—principles founded on respect and gratitude for all who have contributed to the nation’s progress. He commented, "Honouring this distinguished group isn't merely a celebratory occasion; it's a profound affirmation of appreciation and recognition for the great sacrifices and efforts they have made, which have fundamentally driven the nation’s renaissance and enhanced its developmental journey across all fields.
Sheikh Eng. Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the Department of Municipal Affairs (MAD), noted that the initiative is aligned with the Emirati community’s deep-seated commitment to noble human values, particularly loyalty and gratitude for the seniors' boundless contributions. He elaborated, "Supporting and protecting our seniors is an integral part of the very essence of our national culture, which is distinguished by its values of loyalty and profound respect for all members of society, especially those who have dedicated their lives to serving the nation."
