Engineer Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Department, highlighted that the occasion reflects deep appreciation for women's critical role in the development process. He noted that under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and the guidance of Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Sharjah, the department has empowered women to play pivotal roles across various fields.
Sheikh Eng. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the Department, emphasised that the theme "Partnering for Tomorrow" underscores the vital role of women in driving the nation’s progress. He recalled the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s commitment to empowering women, a legacy continued by current leaders.
