The session was attended by Brigadier General Faisal Ibrahim Bin Nassar, Deputy Director General of the Comprehensive Police Centres, Brigadier General Khalifa Musabah Al Ketbi, Director of the Central Region Police Department, Colonel Jassim Mohammed Bin Taliah, Deputy Director of the Central Region Police Department, heads of comprehensive police centres in the central region, and a number of specialised officers.
Also present were directors of governmental and private bodies in the central region, including: Al Dhaid Municipality, Al Madam Municipality, Mleiha Municipality, Al Batayeh Municipality, Sharjah Civil Defence, Roads and Transport Authority, Environment and Protected Areas Authority, Air Wing Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, Public Works Department, Sharjah Economic Development Department, Al Dhaid Hospital, National Ambulance, the National Search and Rescue Centre, and Rafid Automotive Solutions Company.
Brigadier General Ibrahim Al Ajel praised the attention given by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to the Central Region and its tourism projects, noting their clear impact in attracting a wide range of tourists and residents.
He commended the partners’ commitment to unifying efforts through such sessions, which provide a platform to exchange opinions and suggestions to achieve the highest levels of security and safety for the community.
The dialogue covered several key topics, including ways to preserve desert tourism in the Emirate and monitoring the process of renting shops for motorcycles by providing safety and protection measures for visitors to these areas.
Brigadier General Khalifa Musabah Al Ketbi, Director of the Central Region Police Department, emphasised that organising the session aims to enhance security readiness and strengthen coordination and integration with strategic partners, in preparation for the tourist season in the desert areas, which boast attractive facilities and landmarks. He noted that these efforts reflect SP’s commitment to establishing a comprehensive security system that ensures visitor and tourist protection and enhances the quality of life in Sharjah, reinforcing its position as a safe and sustainable destination.
The session saw active participation from attendees, with interventions and suggestions aimed at maximising the region’s tourism potential, developing joint plans and strategies in collaboration with partners, and reviewing security roles and requirements for entering desert areas to ensure visitor safety and protect property.
At the conclusion of the session, Brigadier General Ibrahim Al Ajel honoured the strategic partners, emphasising the importance of joint efforts to achieve the highest levels of security and stability in the region and the ongoing development of services provided to the public.
