Sharjah24: The 56th edition of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, the region’s largest gold and jewellery trade event, continues to draw thousands of visitors who seek to explore that latest trends and unique designs in luxury watches, gold and diamond jewellery, and precious stones.

A prestigious Jewellery showcase in Sharjah

Organised by Expo Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the 30,000-square-metre exhibition hosts more than 500 local and international exhibitors, including top designers, manufacturers, and professionals from leading global jewellery houses.

Debut of “Wahaj Al Arabia” collection

A standout attraction this year is the debut of the “Wahaj Al Arabia” pure gold collection by Arabia Jewels, acclaimed for blending traditional artistry with modern elegance. Reinforcing the UAE’s heritage, the brand also unveiled the “Miryah Wahaj Al Arabia”, the world’s largest gold mirror weighing over three kilograms, created in collaboration with Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) by talented people of determination.

Guinness record: The “Dubai Dress”

Another major highlight is Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery’s “Dubai Dress”, officially recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s heaviest gold dress. Weighing more than 10 kilograms of pure 21-carat gold and valued at AED 4.6 million, the creation was celebrated in a dedicated certification ceremony at the exhibition.

Jawhara Jewellery’s luxury launches

Jawhara Jewellery unveiled two new luxury collections, “Tourmaline” and “Tanzanite”, showcasing rare gemstones with unique appeal. The brand also introduced a limited-edition bridal collection designed to meet diverse customer preferences, with each wedding set crafted as a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

World’s largest raw turquoise

Top Turquoise Inc stunned visitors with a massive raw turquoise stone, officially recognised as the largest of its kind globally. Valued at AED 800,000 and weighing nearly 20 kilograms, the stone’s striking sky-blue hues and natural formations highlight its geological history and rarity.

HRD Antwerp joins exhibition

In a move that reinforces trust and credibility, HRD Antwerp of Belgium, a global leader in diamond grading and certification since 1973, joined this year’s edition. Operating under the World Diamond Center, HRD Antwerp is a pioneer in setting scientific standards for diamond documentation, further enhancing the exhibition’s international reputation.
