His Excellency Abdullah Saleh Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, affirmed that this achievement embodies the fruits of the wise vision and unlimited support provided by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to the sports sector for people with disabilities. For his part, Dr Luay Saeed Allay, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, affirmed that the results achieved in the Czech Republic Championship are an extension of an institutional approach based on strategic planning and investment in developing athletes’ capabilities through advanced training and development programmes, and providing the best technical and administrative staff. This enhances the players’ readiness to compete in regional and international championships and represent the UAE in a manner befitting its stature.

Dr Luay Saeed Allay added that the Board of Directors continues to work according to a clear vision aimed at discovering and refining talents, and providing all the resources that enable athletes to achieve further accomplishments in various upcoming events.

Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Hammadi, Head of Delegation and Chairman of the Technical Affairs and Talent Development Committee, explained that the championship witnessed fierce competition against elite track and field athletes from around the world. However, the club's athletes proved their ability to compete thanks to their determination and perseverance, in addition to the comprehensive technical and administrative preparation that preceded their participation.
