The championship aimed to raise the competitive standards of participants and prepare them for upcoming national and regional tournaments. It reflected Sharjah’s commitment to nurturing athletic talent and promoting individual sports among youth.
Jassim Al Doukhi, Head of the Individual Games Department at the Council’s Sports Affairs and Development Department, crowned the winners. He was joined by Khaled Ghabbash, Al Waleed bin Mohammed, and Samir George from the administrative team.
In the juniors division, Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club took first place, followed by Sharjah Sports Club in second, and Kalba Club in third. In the cubs division, Sharjah Sports Club secured first place, Kalba Club came second, and Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club placed third. For the older juniors group, Sharjah Sports Club again came out on top, with Khorfakkan Club taking second and Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club third.
The championship concluded on a high note, highlighting the growing popularity of judo in the emirate and underscoring the Sharjah Sports Council’s ongoing efforts to support young athletes.
