The camp readied athletes for the 5th Arab Taekwondo Cup, scheduled for 5–7 February 2025, and the 12th Fujairah International Championship, taking place from 9–13 February 2025. The camp brought together 49 athletes from diverse age groups and showcased international teams from Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Egypt, offering significant exposure to a variety of training styles.
Technical director’s statement
Abdullah Hatem, Taekwondo Technical Director at Sharjah Women’s Sports Club, emphasised the camp’s important role in enhancing the athletes' technical skills. He highlighted that international participation enhanced the training experience, enabling athletes to adjust to various playing styles and boosting their confidence in preparation for upcoming competitions.
