The Sharjah Sports Council, the Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club, and the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation worked together to host the event.
Humaid Al Shamsi, the Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club Chairman, was present at the tournament's closing ceremony, along with other board members Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Owais, the Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club Chairman, and Dr. Yasser Omar Al Doukhi, the Head of the Department of Sports and Community Events at the Sharjah Sports Council.
Gold went to Khaled Al Shamsi in the Youth 62 kg category, while silver went to Mohammed Al Shamsi in the Juniors 42 kg category, Emile Sharafutdinov in the Juniors 50 kg category, and Majid Al Shamsi in the Cadets 55 kg category. Ahmed Al Shamsi (cadets 50 kg) and Abdullah Al Baloushi (cadets 42 kg) received bronze medals.
After congratulating the champions, Humaid Al Shamsi lauded the administrators and supervisors who had worked so hard on the team.
In his remarks, he lauded the Sharjah Cup Jiu-Jitsu tournament's organising committee and thanked the Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club for selecting Hamriyah Club as the venue.
