The general plan for the programme was reviewed, and details of the schedule for the events scheduled to be implemented over the coming weeks were discussed.
The mechanism for distributing tasks and responsibilities among the various work teams to ensure integrated performance was also discussed. Methods of documentation, media coverage, and periodic performance evaluation were also discussed.
In his speech during the meeting, Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi emphasised the importance of the summer programme as a national and educational project aimed at developing the skills and capabilities of new generations. He emphasised the need for coordination and integration among the work teams to ensure the program's success and achieve its educational, sporting, and cultural goals.
Al Ketbi praised the vital role played by the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club within the summer activities system in the Emirate of Sharjah, thanks to its integrated infrastructure, qualified human resources, and accumulated organisational experience in hosting summer events.
Mleiha Club's participation in the "Our Holiday is Different" programme reflects its deep commitment to its community mission and its commitment to investing the summer vacation period in instilling positive values in children and adolescents, and engaging them in meaningful and diverse activities spanning sports, intellectual, cultural, and social aspects.
The Summer Programme Committee is headed by Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi, with Abdulrahman Muhair Al Ketbi serving as Vice Chairman, while Mansour Rashid Al Ketbi oversees the program as part of a specialised team seeking to provide a unique and safe summer experience that reflects the aspirations of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) and reflects the Emirate of Sharjah's commitment to supporting and nurturing youth.
