Sharjah24: As part of its continuous efforts to build strategic partnerships that benefit the community and support the younger generation, Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club has entered into a cooperation agreement with Diyar Private Academy for Boys. The agreement seeks to strengthen mutual collaboration and enhance the complementary roles of educational and sports institutions, ultimately serving students and the local community.
Official visit and warm reception
The signing of the agreement took place during an official visit by a delegation from Diyar Private Academy to the club’s headquarters. The delegation was received by H.E. Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Matroushi, Chairman of Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club; H.E. Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban Al Hammoudi, Chairman of Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club; Ali bin Yarouf Al Naqbi, General Secretary; and Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Dhahouri, Head of the Cultural and Community Activities Committee at the club.
Representing the academy were Dean Bright, Academy Director, and Ali Al Shehhi, Head of Student and Administrative Affairs at Diyar Private Academy for Boys.
Tour of facilities
The visit began with a guided tour of the club’s main facilities, including the indoor sports hall, outdoor playing fields, swimming pool, physical training hall, treatment and rehabilitation centre, and theatre. The delegation was introduced to the club’s infrastructure and resources that support both athletic and cultural pursuits.
Signing ceremony
Following the tour, the cooperation agreement was formally signed on the theatre stage at the club, in an atmosphere filled with a sense of shared purpose and commitment to fostering effective partnerships. The aim is to help nurture a skilled and creative generation through meaningful collaboration.
Shared goals and values
The agreement is designed to provide an integrated environment that fosters the development of students’ skills across sporting, cultural, and community spheres. It also aspires to instil the values of positive citizenship, strengthen a sense of belonging, and encourage cooperation and teamwork.

Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Matroushi highlighted the significance of this collaboration, stating that the agreement opens up new opportunities for synergy between the education and sports sectors. He affirmed that such joint programmes and activities will enhance students’ capabilities and support their aspirations.
