Dibba Al-Hisn summer programme concludes Family Week

Sharjah 24: The Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club concluded its Family Week activities as part of the Sharjah Summer Sports Programme "A Holiday Reimagined", offering participants a mix of educational, cultural and sporting activities aimed at enhancing knowledge and strengthening values.

Workshops promote positive values and family bonds

The programme featured a workshop titled "Civilised Behaviour" in cooperation with Sharjah Police General Command. Delivered through an interactive session featuring the cartoon character "The Policeman", the workshop focused on encouraging positive behaviour and community responsibility among children.

The activities also included the honouring of winners of the family competition "The Knowledge Challenge" by Ahmed Al-Ghosib, along with a workshop by the Genius Volunteer Team titled "Family... A Story That Shapes Us", which highlighted the role of families in shaping children’s personalities and strengthening relationships.

A religious workshop, organised in cooperation with the Dibba Al-Hisn Islamic Affairs Office under the title "Reciting the Quran Elevates My Life," encouraged children to engage with Quran recitation and Islamic values.

Heritage visit and recreational activities

Participants also visited the Scorching summer Al-Qayz 2026 (Honey Products Exhibition, held under the theme "The Fragrance of the Past," where they explored local products, agricultural heritage and different types of honey.

The Family Week activities concluded with sports, recreational and water games, creating an enjoyable environment that encouraged teamwork, interaction and cooperation among participants. The club reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a balanced summer programme combining learning, values and entertainment.
