Diba Al Hisn Club departs to Muscat for Handball Championship

Leadership of the delegation
The delegation is led by Saeed Mohammed Ahmed Al-Aka, a board member and chairman of the team sports committee, assisted by Abdullah Saeed Al-Watari, the deputy head of the delegation and head of the individual sports committee. Additionally, Ali Obaid Ahmed Al-Qahtani serves as the supervisor, while Saeed Nasser Al-Nuaimi acts as the team administrator. The team is coached by Captain Habib Habba, overseeing 21 players in the official squad participating in the tournament, with the club aiming for a performance that reflects the development of Emirati handball on the Gulf stage.

Opening match
Diba Al-Hisn will kick off its campaign in the tournament with a strong match against the host team, Oman, in the opening encounter. The team aims to launch strongly to boost its chances in the competition. Diba Al-Hisn is placed in Group B alongside high-level competitive teams, including Al-Arabi from Qatar and Kuwait SC, in addition to the host Oman, making the competition fierce and requiring significant focus from both players and coaching staff.

Preparation for the tournament
The coaching staff, under Captain Habib Habba, aspires to prepare the team in the best possible manner. The players have undergone an intensive training period that included technical and tactical training, as well as friendly matches to enhance team cohesion and collective tactics.
