The activities of the second edition of the Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Festival were launched on Friday at the heritage village located by the beach, with wide participation from local departments and institutions. His Excellency Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa mentioned that the festival, organised by the club under the auspices of the Sharjah Sports Council, operates under the theme "Sports is a Way of Life."
The festival aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, emphasising the club's role in fostering social, cultural, and sports engagement within society. Al Mutawa highlighted the festival’s goal to promote sports culture among all age groups.
Over the course of the two-day festival, the club is offering a variety of sports, with the active participation of many government departments and agencies. The event also features cultural, artistic shows, competitions, and prizes to engage visitors and encourage community involvement.
