Sharjah Women's Sports Club athletes shone in various races. Rawda Al-Jabri won first place in the 80-meter hurdles, with Sarah Fahd securing second. Chloe Riley claimed first in the 80-meter sprint, and Alia Khaled Saeed earned third place in the same event. In middle-distance races, Alia Al Muhairi came second in the 1000m, followed by Hamda Jassim Ahli in third. In the long jump, Shahad Rashid, Reem Al Badawi, and Samar Saleh clinched the top three spots.
In the junior category, Reem Youssef won the 100m hurdles, while Asmita Ganesh triumphed in the 800m race. Alyazia Tariq dominated the long jump event, and Alia Al Ali secured second place in the 100m race.
In the women’s category, Fatima Ali Al Balushi won the 100-meter race, followed by Mahra Abdul Rahim in second place. Abeer Al Balushi excelled in the long jump, securing first, while Dina Gharsali earned second. Khadija Al Naqbi claimed third place in the 5,000-meter race.
Hind Al Kabawi, Technical Director, expressed pride in the club's vision of developing players technically and mentally to sustain high performance. Walid Abdul Latif Saber, coach, emphasized the importance of fine-tuning technical skills during training for the athletes’ success.
The championship concluded with a celebration of the spirit of hard work and collaboration. It reinforced the importance of women’s sports development in the UAE, showcasing Sharjah Women's Sports Club athletes' ability to achieve excellence.
