This year’s camp has attracted over 150 male and female athletes from 14 different countries. It features a group of skilled coaches and experts, along with Olympic and international-level players. The camp kicked off on January 25 and includes both morning and evening training sessions to ensure participants get plenty of practice.
Athletes from various regions, including Asia, Africa, and Europe, are taking part in the camp, with the UAE being the leading country represented by the Sharjah Sports Club. Other countries involved include national teams from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, as well as teams from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Russia.
During the visit, Khalid Issa Al Madfa welcomed all the participants, highlighting that reaching the eleventh edition of the camp demonstrates its success and the goals it has achieved.
Engineer Sulaiman Abdulrahman Al Hajri mentioned that the ongoing success of the camp shows the valuable experience that athletes gain from it. He noted that Sharjah Sports Club is committed to hosting the camp for the benefit of both club and national team players, wishing all participants good luck.
Al Hajri also pointed out that the camp offers more than just training; it helps foster friendships and connections among players and the coaching staff. He expressed pride in welcoming participants from various countries and hopes they all reach their goals during the camp and shine on the podiums in future competitions.
Coaches and team leaders attending the camp expressed their gratitude to Sharjah Sports Club for organizing this international event each year. They emphasized that it has become an important part of their schedules due to its significant benefits for their athletes.
