The club’s jet ski star, Khalid Al Mazmi, is set to make his international debut at the World Aquabike Championships in Indonesia, taking place from August 13 to 17. His participation signals a new chapter in Emirati involvement in high-speed aquatic sports.
Following this, the club’s Formula 1 powerboat team is preparing to compete in the first round of the World Powerboat Championship, also scheduled in Indonesia, from August 22 to 24.
The Formula 4 season will kick off in Belgium from August 23 to 24, where Emirati athlete Khalid Al Zarouni is set to make his debut. He is already in intensive training as he looks forward to advancing to Formula 2 and Formula 1 categories in the near future.
In Formula 2 racing, the club’s team will be competing in the fourth round of the World Powerboat Championship in Italy from August 29 to 31, continuing the club’s presence on major international circuits.
Beyond high-speed sports, the club will also take part in the Musandam International Diving Festival, where it will showcase advanced marine equipment and host rowing competitions. The event attracts water sports enthusiasts globally and reflects the club’s active role in promoting marine and eco-tourism.
Ahmed Eisa Al Hosani, Director General of the club, stated that August represents an exceptional month in the club’s history. He highlighted the importance of these participations:
“From Khalid Al Mazmi’s debut in the Aquabike Championship to Khalid Al Zarouni’s strong start in Formula 4, our athletes are building a future for Emirati excellence in marine sports. Our Formula 1 and 2 teams are consistently performing, and we are confident in their abilities to raise the UAE flag high.”
Al Hosani emphasised that the club remains a global leader in powerboat and jet ski sports, playing a vital role in developing Emirati talent and promoting the UAE’s marine sports identity. He reaffirmed the club’s commitment to international competitiveness and its contribution to the UAE’s reputation in global sporting forums.
