SCI seeks to secure AED 136 million for Ramadan

Sharjah 24: Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Charity International (SCI), announced the objectives and budget for the SCI’s Ramadan campaign "Joud" for 2025, aiming to raise AED 136 million.

A press conference was held at the Sharjah Education Academy, during which the announcement was made. The event saw attendance from Mohammed Rashid bin Bayat, Vice Chairman of the Board, along with board members, Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, the Executive Director, sector heads, department managers, staff, and representatives from various media outlets.

Focus on local and international aid

Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi declared that the Joud campaign will allocate 80% of its funds to assist individuals in the UAE. The campaign encompasses various initiatives, including Iftar for those observing the fast, Zakat Al-Mal, Zakat Al-Fitr, Eid clothing, Ramadan food baskets, and medical treatment, along with additional projects.

Gratitude to benefactors and partners

The campaign will also broaden its initiatives to support individuals in need beyond the UAE. Sheikh Saqr conveyed his appreciation to benefactors and partners for their support of the SCI's projects, assuring them that their contributions would effectively reach those in need both locally and internationally.
