Mohammed Ibrahim bin Nassar, Director of Corporate Communication and Marketing at the association, said that the sacrificial meat project is an important part of the Eid Al-Adha campaign. Its goal is to bring joy to needy families during this special time, showing the values of kindness and community that are important in UAE society.
He mentioned that this year, a significant part of the campaign’s resources will be used to buy livestock within the country. The animals will be purchased from approved suppliers and slaughtered at licensed facilities, ensuring safe and proper distribution.
Bin Nassar also pointed out that the cost of the sacrifice has been set to be affordable for everyone. A donation of AED 650 will ensure that the sacrificial meat reaches eligible families, bringing them happiness during Eid.
The SCI has set up several ways to donate, including its website, smart app, SMS service, and direct contributions at its headquarters and branches. He encouraged people to donate early to ensure enough sacrifices are made on time. He also urged everyone in the community to participate in this charitable act, saying that every contribution, no matter how small, really helps those in need and strengthens the sense of unity in society.
