The SCI contributed 427 tons of relief aid, including 400 tons of basic food supplies and 27 tons of heavy clothing and blankets to provide warmth and clothing to the residents of the Strip, especially in light of the harsh winter conditions experienced in Palestine.
Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi, Head of Resources and Investment Sector at the SCI, said that the participation of the SCI in Operation “Chivalrous Knight 3” comes within the humanitarian initiative and national responsibility to support people in Gaza, as the campaign reflects the noble values of the wise leadership, and the continuous keenness to provide a helping hand and relief to those in need, wherever they are.
He pointed out that meeting the basic needs of the residents of the Strip for food, clothing and blankets is a humanitarian duty.
Al Rashidi added: “We have been keen to provide aid that is appropriate to the current circumstances of families in Gaza, especially in light of the harsh winter. We are also working in coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure that this aid reaches those who deserve it as quickly as possible. We believe that supporting them in these difficult circumstances reflects the spirit of solidarity that characterises the UAE as a leading country in humanitarian work globally.”
Al Rashidi praised the great role played by the wise leadership of the UAE in directing and supporting these humanitarian initiatives, which enhances the country’s position as a global symbol of giving and goodness. He also thanked everyone who contributed to the success of this campaign, stressing that the SCI will continue its commitment to its humanitarian journey to provide support to all those in need and extend a helping hand to all those living in difficult circumstances.
