The event has seen wide participation from club members, Quran memorisation circles, and residents of Dibba Al Hisn. Notably, people of determination from Dibba Al Hisn and Dibba Al Fujairah have also taken part, reflecting the organisers’ commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities.
This competition aims to instil Islamic values, strengthen participants’ connection with the Quran, and discover emerging talents. It also enhances the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan and highlights the UAE’s dedication to supporting Quran memorisation.
A specialised committee from the Sharjah Foundation for Quran and Sunnah evaluates participants based on recitation quality, tajweed rules, memorisation accuracy, voice clarity, and emotional depth.
The event opened with the 10 Juz’ category, along with special segments for club members and people of determination. Sunday and Monday will feature 5 Juz’ and 2 Juz’ (Juz’ Amma & Tabarak) categories, aimed at young learners.
The competition concludes on Ramadan 19 with a grand award ceremony after Taraweeh prayers, celebrating outstanding participants and encouraging them to continue their Quranic journey.
