Khalid Hassan Al Ali, Director of External Projects at the SCI, stated that each complex includes several essential facilities that contribute to improving living conditions in remote villages. These facilities comprise a mosque, a school, and a well providing clean drinking water, in addition to residential units designated for the imam and teachers.
He explained that the charitable complexes were distributed across several countries: seven in Bangladesh, two in the Philippines, two in Egypt, and one each in Indonesia, Burkina Faso, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, and Kenya. This was carried out following field visits and thorough assessment studies to ensure support reaches the areas most in need.
He affirmed that these projects have had a direct impact on improving residents’ daily lives, enabling children to attend nearby schools, facilitating access to clean water, and providing decent housing along with an appropriate environment for worship and education.
