Sharjah 24: In an effort to strengthen collaboration and partnership, Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, welcomed Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidli, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Leadership Affairs at Dubai Police, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Intellectual Property Association to his office on Wednesday morning. This meeting was part of ongoing initiatives aimed at developing comprehensive strategies to enhance work efficiency in the realms of innovation and intellectual property protection.

The gathering also included Brigadier Ahmed Haji Al Serkal, Director General of the General Department of Prevention and Community Protection, Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the General Department of Operations and Security Support, alongside members of the Emirates Intellectual Property Association delegation, including Faisal Ahmed Al Khamiri and Ali Hassan Al Amiri, among others.

Major General Bin Amer kicked off the meeting by extending a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and commending the Emirates Intellectual Property Association for its role in fostering cooperation with government entities in the fields of innovation and intellectual property rights protection. He emphasized Sharjah Police’s commitment to safeguarding these rights, recognizing the importance of cultivating an environment that encourages creativity and innovation—a vital source of support for innovators across various sectors. The discussion moved on to several topics aimed at bolstering joint efforts between the two parties, all aligned with the directives of the wise government to ensure a sustainable future of growth and prosperity in multiple areas.

As the meeting came to a close, Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Al Obaidli expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality and conveyed his hopes for continued collaboration to realize their shared goals toward a thriving and innovative society. The two parties exchanged commemorative shields as a token of their partnership.
