The forum was held at Sharjah Safari, in the presence of Ahmed Al Mail, Director of the SSSD, Ali Al Juwaid, Chairman of the Executive Office of the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, and Hessa Al Hammadi, Director of the Community Cohesion Department and the Sharjah Volunteer Center, in addition to several directors and officials.
The Sharjah Awqaf's efforts in volunteer work are clear and prominent, as it continuously creates and develops its initiatives and volunteer opportunities, which contribute to supporting the values of goodness and giving in the community.
It is worth noting that the Department recently won first place in the 21st edition of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work in the (Eqrab Initiative).
Talib Al Marri, Director General of the Department, expressed his pride and appreciation for this achievement that is added to the Department’s record, stressing that this honor is a strong incentive to continue its efforts in promoting humanitarian and societal principles, and its keenness to offer sustainable opportunities that contribute to building a cohesive and interdependent society, and encourage the participation of all members of society in achieving noble humanitarian goals.
