Sharjah24: The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work wrapped up its two-day exhibition in Khorfakkan, drawing more than 200 visitors, including university students, their families, and faculty members.
The event highlighted creative volunteer initiatives designed to promote sustainable development and increase community awareness.
Participants took part in interactive activities and educational competitions, focusing on environmental awareness. The award distributed 100 eco-friendly bags to visitors as part of its initiatives, and it emphasized opportunities for new volunteers to engage in various community projects.
Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, praised the event's success, noting the strong attendance as a clear indication of the increasing interest in promoting a culture of giving. She praised Khorfakkan University for its important contributions to hosting the exhibition and enhancing cooperation between academic and community organizations.
