Pirate world
This Eid, Khorfakkan Beach is doing something a little different. Al Darmaki introduced a novel family experience named Pirate World, which will take place from 27 to 30 May, providing both children and parents with the opportunity to enjoy the long weekend in a unique location — right on the shore of one of the UAE's most stunning coastlines.
Sadaf zone
Sadaf, the children's area at the beach, has undergone a complete pirate transformation. Think roaming characters, live shows, skill games, hands-on craft workshops and interactive décor that pulls youngsters straight into adventure. It is the kind of setup that keeps kids entertained for hours while giving parents something to enjoy too — a proper day out rather than just a tick-box activity.
Al Darmaki told Sharjah 24 that the whole experience was built around what makes Khor Fakkan special in the first place — its natural coastal charm. The idea was to let the setting do the talking, pairing the sea breeze and open water with activities that spark imagination and bring families together.
A premier family destination
Al Darmaki was clear that the initiative is about more than just one Eid event. Khor Fakkan Beach has its sights set on becoming the go-to family spot in the Eastern Region, and Pirate World is a step in that direction — the kind of experience that sticks in the memory long after the holiday is over.
Khorfakkan Beach transforms its Sadaf children's zone into an immersive Pirate World experience from 27–30 May 2026, offering families live shows, workshops, and interactive activities during Eid Al Adha.
