Sharjah24: On the occasion of the International Day for Tolerance, which falls on November 16, the Sharjah Public Works Department organized a celebration to promote the global values of tolerance, openness, and acceptance of others. The event highlighted the role these values play in fostering a productive and constructive work environment within the department and among all its employees.
In a move aimed at enhancing the culture of tolerance in the workplace, the department announced the appointment of Tolerance Ambassadors from each division to represent and promote these values across various sections and departments. These ambassadors were carefully selected to embody the spirit of cooperation and respect among all employees, and to enhance effective communication and strengthen relationships across different categories and departments.
Aml Al Ali, Head of the Public Relations Department at the Sharjah Public Works Department, emphasized the importance of tolerance as a fundamental pillar in institutional work. She noted that this initiative is part of the department's efforts to enhance the work environment and improve institutional performance by instilling the values of tolerance and collaboration.
