Al Khalidiya Council discusses infrastructure with SRTA

Sharjah24: Al Khalidiya District Council met with a delegation from the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) on Friday at the council's headquarters in the city of Sharjah to discuss improving the infrastructure in the district. The meeting also reviewed several observations noted by council members, the volunteer committee, and local residents.
The meeting, chaired by His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiya District Council, included the presence of Mohammed Rashid Bin Garsh, Vice Chairman of the Council; Khamis Ali Al Hamiri, Council Member; Imran Mohammed Al Hammadi, Council Officer; Abdulaziz Khalid Al Abduli, Council Administrator; and Ali Khalifa Bin Tarish from the volunteer committee.

From the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, attendees included Engineer Suleiman Abdul Rahman Al Hajri, Director of Roads Affairs; Dr. Engineer Mohsen Ali Bilwan, Director of Traffic Engineering; and Engineer Hamad Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Acting Head of the Traffic Safety Department.

During the meeting, several critical issues regarding roads in the district were discussed, alongside observations collected from council members, the volunteer committee, and residents. The parties also explored ways to collaborate on solutions to achieve sustainable development goals in the district.

Locations and images of the discussed points were reviewed, and ideas and proposals for their development were exchanged.

His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri emphasized the importance of the meeting, highlighting the commitment to enhancing coordination with the Roads and Transport Authority and Al Khalidiya District Council as a vital link within its responsibilities. He reiterated the commitment to meeting the needs of the district and its residents while providing the best services, showcasing the dedication to improving the infrastructure.

In conclusion, the council chairman thanked the delegation from the authority for their attendance and cooperation in addressing the council and district's needs. He expressed gratitude to His Excellency Engineer Yusuf Khamees Al Othmani, Chairman of the Roads and Transport Authority, and all its staff for their ongoing efforts in the district and the emirate, wishing them continued progress and prosperity.
