Sharjah24: The General Command of Sharjah Police, in coordination with the National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard, successfully rescued an Asian national who sustained severe injuries after his motorcycle overturned in the Rafada Desert, near Al Madam in the central region.
The Central Operations Room of Sharjah Police received a report at 12:28 PM on Friday regarding the accident. Specialised police teams, along with a National Guard search and rescue helicopter, promptly arrived on the scene, evacuating the injured person and ensuring he was transported to Al Dhaid Hospital for needed medical treatment.
Sharjah Police stressed the importance of following safety regulations for motorcycle owners and renters participating in desert activities, highlighting their continuous dedication to enhancing public safety and encouraging safe practices that protect the environment.
