Sharjah24: Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators is preparing to host the closing session for the Sharjah Children Shura Council and the Sharjah Youth Shura Council on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the Sharjah Consultative Council's headquarters. This event marks the conclusion of the 17th session of the Sharjah Children’s Council and the 8th session of the Sharjah Youth Council, under the theme "Artificial Intelligence: Between Values and Legislation."
This year's closing session holds special significance as discussions will revolve around the vital topic of artificial intelligence, exploring its implications for the lives and futures of the members, with an emphasis on the ethical and legislative dimensions governing its use.
The session serves as an important platform for empowering children and youth to express their ideas and visions on how to leverage artificial intelligence in ways that enhance their community values and contribute to developing innovative solutions that respect privacy and comply with laws. The opening ceremony will begin at 10 AM with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by welcoming speeches from the Sharjah Children Shura Council and the Sharjah Youth Shura Council. Both councils will greet attendees and share their ideas and visions with government representatives, highlighting the role of institutions in empowering children and youth for active participation in shaping a bright future.
Following the speeches, the closing session will convene for the 60 members of the Sharjah Children’s Council and the 80 members of the Sharjah Youth Council, featuring discussions on their visions and ideas regarding the theme of artificial intelligence.
