Sharjah24: As part of the Sharjah Cultural Forum "Ya Zaman Al Wasl," organised by the Cultural Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, a session titled "Biographies: Writing in the History of Time and Place" was held at the Al Heera Literary Council.
Dr. Sultan Al Amimi led the session, moderated by media personality Alia Al Mansouri. The discussion focused on the importance of autobiographies and biographies, their sources, and their role in preserving diverse human experiences.
Dr. Al Amimi underscored the difference between autobiographies and biographies, stressing their importance in delivering lessons and knowledge through generations.
He also mentioned the works of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, highlighting his important contributions to biographical literature that record significant historical periods and uncover essential truths.
