The Arab Photographers Union proudly showcases a fresh collection of remarkable works by Emirati and Arab photographers at the Sharjah Calligraphy Forum. Photographers submitted their entries for the Union's competition, "Lenses Capturing the Beauty of Calligraphy."

The competition's winners were:

First place: Youssef Nasser Mohammed of Egypt

Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Uidi from Saudi Arabia secured the second place.

In third place is Abdullah Hussein Al-Sheikh, representing Saudi Arabia.

Mohammed Al Qaseer toured the exhibition, observing the participating works, and highlighted that the ongoing partnership with the Arab Photographers Union has led to numerous activities that enrich a vibrant creative landscape. This has resulted in a dynamic visual portrayal of the Sharjah Calligraphy Forum.

Arab photographers discovered a distinct avenue to convey their concepts, influenced by the exhibition's theme "Letters and Light," through images that harmoniously combined the care of light composition with the grace of art inspired by diverse styles of Arabic calligraphy. The outcome was the development of visually captivating photographic panels that engage both the viewer and the audience.

This exhibition elegantly builds upon its predecessors, which have graced numerous venues, showcasing the allure of visual culture. The varied visual elements in the exhibition fulfil the public's true yearning for a stronger bond between the photographer's artistic vision and the audience's appreciation.
