Sharjah Police receives SC delegation

Sharjah 24: Colonel Dr. Mohammed Butti Al Hajri, Acting Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at the Sharjah Police General Command, received a delegation from the Sharjah Children (SC), affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, headed by Noura Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the SC.
The visit aimed to learn about the best practices applied in the field of quality of life and employee happiness, in addition to reviewing the services of the Customer Happiness Centres affiliated with the Sharjah Police.

The meeting was attended by Iman Turki, Director of the Child Care Department, Marwa Al Zarouni, Director of the Marketing and Government Communication Department, Fatima Al Ali, Director of the Strategy and Institutional Excellence Office, Fatima Al Majini, Head of the Human Resources Department at SC, Captain Salem Ashour, Director of the Employee Happiness Branch at Sharjah Police, First Lieutenant Alia Al Sarkal, Director of the Learning Affairs Branch, and a number of specialist officers.

Colonel Al Hajri welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing his appreciation for this visit, and praising the efforts of SC and its commitment to developing its capabilities and adopting the best methods to achieve sustainable development, stressing the keenness of Sharjah Police to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and exchange of expertise between government institutions; which enhances the level of excellence and innovation in the services provided to the community.

The delegation was briefed on the strategies of the Sharjah Police General Command in promoting a positive work environment that contributes to achieving employee happiness through applying institutional quality of life standards and providing distinguished services to customers. It was also briefed on service management systems, service delivery channels, communication platforms, and practices applied to make customers happy, in addition to reviewing the “coaching” programme specialised in training and learning.

At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation to Sharjah Police for the warm welcome, expressing their hope for the continuation of fruitful cooperation between the two sides and the exchange of expertise; to improve the quality of services provided.
