Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UOS), commended the enthusiasm of the university's students for participating in various extracurricular activities. He noted that these opportunities help expand their practical experiences and develop personal skills, ensuring that University of Sharjah graduates excel in all areas.
This took place during His Highness's meeting Thursday morning, with the heads of Student Councils, Student Clubs, and Scientific Societies at the University of Sharjah, held at the Student Forum in the students' colleges.

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi emphasised that the University of Sharjah follows a strategic and scientific approach to enhance the student experience. This includes fostering skills in communication, collaborative thinking, teamwork, community service, leadership, and personal development, all of which will benefit students in their future lives.

His Highness heard various student opinions and suggestions aimed at enhancing the educational process, developing their personal skills for the job market, and promoting the culture and heritage of the United Arab Emirates.

During their discussions, the students covered several topics aimed at enhancing the student activities experience at the university, increasing participation among all students, and achieving the desired goals for community involvement both inside and outside the university.

At the end of the meeting, the students expressed their gratitude to His Highness the President of the University of Sharjah for taking the time to meet with them, listen to their ideas and suggestions, and for the university administration's unwavering support for student societies and activities.
