Police and Sharjah Camel Club Discuss Al Dhaid Race Security

Sharjah24: The Central Region Police Department discussed with the Sharjah Camel Racing Club the security and organisational procedures for the races and festivals held at the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Track. The discussions focused on deploying police patrols to maintain order and ensure the safety and security of road users near the track.
The meeting was chaired by Colonel Hmaid Saeed Al Jallaf Al Shuwaihi, Director of the Central Region Police Department, and was attended by Colonel Khalifa Misbah Al Khassouni, Head of the Al Dhaid Police Station; Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Suleiman Al Mulla, Head of the Investigations and Intelligence Section; Major Hamdan Khalifa Al Badawi, Head of the Traffic and Patrols Section; Major Rashid Saeed bin Huwaiden, Head of the Strategy Branch; and First Lieutenant Issa Obaid, Head of the Support Services Branch. Also in attendance were His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, along with club board members Mohammed Obaid bin Hamid Al Tunaji and Mohammed Awad Khassouni Al Ketbi.

During the meeting, they discussed the security and organisational measures to be implemented during race days and festivals at the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Track. This includes providing fixed police patrols on race days to maintain security and prevent any violations by some vehicle owners that may occur at the race track, as well as to prevent any traffic offenses during the race.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi praised the efforts of the Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Central Region Police Department, for their role in reducing traffic accidents and road risks, and for enhancing security measures at the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Track during races and festivals. He emphasised the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation between the club and the Central Region Police Department.
