Sharjah 24: The UAE national youth team successfully defended its title at the Asia Rugby U18 Sevens, held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, defeating Hong Kong 43-0 in the final. This marks their third consecutive championship win.
Remarkably, the UAE team did not concede any points throughout the tournament. After the final, Asia Rugby President Qais Al Dhalai, awarded the championship cup and gold medals to the UAE team, while Hong Kong received silver and Sri Lanka took bronze.
In the youth competition, Hong Kong claimed the title by defeating Thailand 31-5, and Malaysia secured bronze by beating India 12-0. The UAE youth team finished fifth overall.
