Sharjah24: Participants of the summer program at Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club took part in an interactive workshop titled “Team Building and Enhancing Group Work Skills” at the Sharjah Scouts Commission. The visit formed a valuable educational stop during the third week of the club’s summer program under the theme “I Am the Community,” held as part of “Sharjah Sports Summer, Our Vacation is Different 2025.”

Learning and Entertainment

Al Dhaid Club continues its diverse summer activities under the umbrella of “Sharjah Sports Summer,” offering a comprehensive approach that combines fun and education. The program aims to refine participants’ skills and broaden their perspectives within a safe and inspiring environment, supervised by the Sharjah Sports Council and supported by various educational and community entities across the emirate.

Inclusive Participation Focus

This morning’s visit was dedicated to delivering the interactive workshop, which targeted senior members of the club’s summer program as well as participants from the Humanitarian Services category. This initiative highlights the program’s inclusive approach and its commitment to engaging all community segments.

Interactive Training Session

The workshop was led by specialist trainer Adel Mohammed Karam in an engaging and hands-on manner. He emphasised the individual's role within a team, methods of working harmoniously, and overcoming challenges through cooperation and mutual trust. The session saw active participation through group exercises designed to reinforce the concept of “one team” and develop positive communication and collective problem-solving skills.

Practical Value Emphasis

The workshop’s organisation reflects Al Dhaid Club’s commitment to fostering educational and behavioral values in youth through hands-on activities that translate theoretical knowledge into real-life experiences. These initiatives contribute to developing participants’ character and strengthening their social and self-awareness. Notably, the active involvement of the Humanitarian Services group highlighted the club’s inclusive strategy in promoting community integration.

Positive Parental Feedback

The visit received praise from both participants and parents, who appreciated the club’s dedication to hosting high-quality events that elevate their children’s knowledge and skills. Organisers noted that the workshop effectively embodies the objectives of “I Am the Community Week,” which seeks to foster a spirit of belonging, promote teamwork, and build stronger human connections across different segments of the community.
