Al Dhaid Team continues intensive training in Turkey camp

Strategic sports vision

Through this camp, the club is implementing the steps of its sporting strategy, which focuses on sustainability in performance and results. This approach strengthens Al Dhaid’s position as one of the ambitious teams on the UAE sporting scene, while also reflecting the Board of Directors’ support for sport and youth in Sharjah and the wider United Arab Emirates.

Daily training regime

The team is undergoing regular daily training sessions that combine physical and technical aspects. The coaching staff, led by Algerian coach Fouad Bou Madel and team supervisor Matar Al Qaydi, is working on improving fitness levels, correcting tactical errors, and building cohesion among the new players recruited to strengthen the squad this season. The technical and administrative staff are closely following the planned programme to ensure the players reach peak readiness.

Friendly matches and progress

As part of its preparations, the team has played several strong friendly matches against Turkish clubs, the latest of which was against Kartalspor. Al Dhaid achieved an impressive 5–1 victory, in a performance that highlighted the players’ progress and the growing harmony between the team’s three lines.

His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club, affirmed that holding the external camp reflects the Board’s keenness to develop the first team’s performance and to provide all the necessary conditions to achieve positive results in the upcoming sports season.

He added that the club operates under a clear vision based on supporting national talents, investing in human capital, and strengthening team spirit. He stressed that the club’s ambitions go beyond mere participation, aiming instead to achieve results that satisfy Al Dhaid’s fans and meet their aspirations.

Al Ketbi noted that the camp provides an important opportunity to test the players’ abilities through friendly encounters, gaining further experience and building cohesion before returning to the UAE to enter the final phase of preparations. He affirmed that the Board will spare no effort in supporting and backing the team to achieve its desired goals.
