Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police celebrated the beginning of the school year with primary school students in Sharjah City and the Central and Eastern districts as one of its back-to-school community activities.
The goal of this effort, which was implemented in cooperation with the Sharjah Private Education Authority and the Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE), was to provide early academic students a good impression.
The program, which goes by the name "Learn and Be Aware," reflects the Sharjah Police's dedication to encouraging open dialogue with all societal groups, particularly young children going through stages of development. It aims to instill strong moral values and promote community engagement from an early age, fostering a diligent and responsible generation capable of positively contributing to their society and supporting sustainable development.
Children at the "Sharjah Autism Centre" of the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) as well as elementary school students around the emirate were delighted by the array of activities and programs that were part of the project.
The activities began with the UAE national anthem performed by the Sharjah Police Academy's musical band, followed by an entertaining and educational segment presented by the "Little Police Officer" character. In order to increase the children's awareness, the Community Police Department also organised a talent show and introduce them to security culture themes.
The youngsters received presents when the performance came to an end.
