Sharjah Police hosts Digital Office delegation

Sharjah24: This morning, the Sharjah Police received a delegation from the Sharjah Digital Office. Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police, greeted Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office, and the members of his delegation.
Major General Abdullah Mubarak Bin Amer, the Sharjah Police's Deputy Commander-in-Chief, also attended the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Eng. Lamia Obaid Al Shamsi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office; Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Serkal, Director General of Police Operations at Sharjah Police; Brigadier Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations at Sharjah Police; Brigadier Abdullah Ibrahim bin Nassar, Deputy Director General of Resources and Support Services at Sharjah Police General Command; as well as the heads of relevant departments, Said Zamzam, and Dr Haidar Al Ameen, Data Management and Governance Advisor at the Sharjah Digital Office.

Major General Al Shamsi welcomed the delegation, expressing his thanks for their visit and appreciating the Sharjah Digital Office's efforts to advance and expand the emirate's digital vision. He reaffirmed Sharjah Police's commitment to helping all government activities achieve strategic goals and contribute to Sharjah's future vision.

During the conference, the Sharjah Digital Office presented their groundbreaking project in data management and governance, which aims to assist government entities in implementing authorised data governance standards. They also discussed numerous areas of mutual interest in order to meet the expectations of the wise leadership and the emirate's vision for digital leadership.

At the end of the tour, Major General Al Zari Al Shamsi underlined the need for continuing cooperation and exchanging experience to achieve long-term development, thereby strengthening Sharjah's position as a leading centre for digital government.
