The exhibition was organized by the Municipality’s Public Health Department, and employees Alia Abdullah Hatem Al Shamsi, Nizar Haider, and Al Tohamy Ahmed participated in its organization. The exhibition's objectives were to raise the level of cognitive and mental awareness among Al Hamriyah Summer Forum members of all age groups, and regarding topics related to public health, pest control, and sound and safe methods for dealing with insects and preventing their effects.

The exhibition took place as part of the Municipality of Al Hamriyah's involvement in the Sharjah Summer activities, "Our Holiday is Different." It was organized by the Al Hamriyah Club and supervised by the Sharjah Sports Council, and 100 members of the summer activity in Al Hamriyah from various age groups participated.

The exhibition is part of the joint plan between Al Hamriyah Municipality and the Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club to sponsor the Sharjah Summer Programme “Our Holiday Is Different.” It aims to raise awareness about the dangers of disease-carrying pests, such as mosquitoes, flies, and rodents, and to promote best international practices for reducing their reproduction.

The exhibition featured introductory workshops and a presentation on the most common public health pests. The aim was to inform participants of the summer program about the importance of avoiding these pests and to introduce them to the integrated programs implemented by the Public Health Department in the Municipality of Al Hamriyah. Additionally, the exhibition included information on methods for classifying samples of public health pests, as well as pest survey and control programs utilized in the municipality.
