Sharjah24: In accordance with His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's directives and unwavering devotion to educational quality, the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SPDW) has completed the second phase of the Victoria Model School in Mleiha. They understand the importance of providing opportunities for boys and girls to learn according to the highest global scientific standards and providing distinguished qualitative education in all areas of the Emirate of Sharjah.
This achievement, which corresponds with the start of the new academic year, demonstrates sustained progress in the development of educational and infrastructure facilities. New buildings and facilities, aimed at enhancing the student experience and fostering a stimulating educational environment, set this phase apart. The phase involved the construction of two secondary school buildings, one for girls and another for boys.

Furthermore, the expansion of the existing nursery buildings has boosted the school's capacity to accommodate additional students in the nursery stage. The school has developed a new facility for scientific laboratories and libraries. Additionally, the construction of a sports complex, complete with courts for various sports, aims to stimulate physical activity and motivate students to integrate sports into their everyday routines.

Engineer Abdullah Al-Tunaiji, Director of Branch Administration at the Department of Public Works, verified that the school follows the Australian curriculum, which includes particular standards for study areas, play zones, and green spaces. The working team and specialists from Victoria School reviewed the design, and Al-Tunaiji emphasised that these expansions reflect Victoria Model School's commitment to providing the best educational environment for its students, bolstering the institution's position as a regional leader in education.

With specialized classrooms, knowledge resources, and library, arts, and technology halls, the school provides an optimal learning environment. Its strategic location in the Mleiha neighbourhood, as well as its proximity to Al-Bataeh, Al Dhaid, and Al Madam, ensures that all people and residents in these areas can benefit from its services. The school has been accepting students since the beginning of the current academic year, and it has a capacity of roughly 1,000 pupils.
