Sharjah24: The Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) hosted a "Secure Travel" workshop at its Dibba Al-Hisn branch in partnership with the Sharjah Police General Headquarters'.
The SDPW Dibba Al-Hisn branch offices hosted the event with the aim of raising community awareness about the importance of securing houses and properties before travelling over the summer holidays and adhering to safety protocols.
Community police officers presented vital information and ideas on how to protect properties from theft and accidents while the owners were away. The course also featured a presentation on a series of preventive actions that individuals may take to safeguard the safety of their property.
At the workshop's conclusion, representatives from the Directorate of Public Works and Community Police thanked everyone for their participation and interest in the topic, emphasising the importance of continuing such awareness activities to improve community security and peace of mind.
