Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SPDW) gave gifts to 150 workers involved in the sewage network project in the Al Sweihat and Al Ramaqiya regions to boost their morale and express gratitude for their hard work.
The department has launched this program as part of its plan to reward exceptional performance, hard work, and compliance with all project safety and security protocols.

At the gift distribution event, many department officials expressed their gratitude for the workers' outstanding efforts in accomplishing the project efficiently and to the highest standards. The employees were overjoyed and appreciative of this kind gesture, which they said showed how much the department valued their work.

The step is part of an overall effort to promote values of compassion, the significance of humanitarian work, and its role in embodying social cohesion and solidarity among community members, as well as to expedite and improve work productivity and quality. It will also help the department achieve its goals and successfully implement its projects.

The head of the Corporate Communication Centre's Public Relations Department, Amal Al Ali, highlighted that the department acknowledges the workers' hard work in moving the Al Sweihat and Al Ramaqiya projects forward in accordance with the planned schedule. We anticipate finalising the projects by the end of this year's fourth quarter.

Charitable initiatives, humanitarian activities, and contributions are lifelines for communities and drivers of sustainable development. This is particularly true in light of the global challenges we are facing, and the significance of values like sacrifice, giving, and human solidarity is highlighted by this gesture.

She emphasised the importance of cultivating a culture of tolerance as an integral aspect of human culture and pointed out that the event is a component of the Corporate Communication Centre’s initiatives, particularly in the areas of community engagement and humanitarian work.
