Sharjah 24: As part of its efforts to enhance mutual cultural learning between its members and the youth of the world, Sharjah Youth, affiliated with the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, is organising the first edition of the Youth Cultural Exchange Programme.
Through the programme, Sharjah Youth will receive a youth delegation from the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication in the Kingdom of Morocco, on Sunday, as part of a rich cultural tourism programme that extends for ten days.
The programme, in its first edition, aims to provide an appropriate environment for preparing young leaders within a youth framework that achieves future visions and aspirations, and highlights the pioneering role of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators in qualifying youth professionals capable of participating in making the future, emphasising the vital and effective role of Sharjah Youth in supporting cultural diversity and constructive civilizational interaction among the youth of the world.
Sharjah Youth is keen to communicate with leaderships in various countries and learn from their rich experiences, build youth leaders with strategic thinking characterised by knowledge and mastery of the skills necessary to face future challenges according to the highest standards.
The programme schedule includes a variety of visits and exploratory tours to the most important cultural landmarks in the Emirate of Sharjah with the aim of providing participants with the opportunity to undergo a cultural experience that contributes to enhancing cultural communication in different common aspects, in addition to interactive activities and creative skill workshops in which the Moroccan delegation will participate within the Rubu’ Qarn Camp for Life Skills.
Through the Youth Cultural Exchange Programme, Sharjah Youth seeks to enhance communication, acquaintance and exchange of ideas between the youth of the two countries, in addition to exchanging experiences, which contributes to building the capabilities of youth and activating their roles to engage in joint cultural programmes and convey a bright image of the civilization and culture of the two countries.
