Sharjah 24: The activities of the Youth Centres Forum, organised by Sharjah Youth, affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, will kick off, on Sunday, December 15, 2024, in its second edition, as part of the Youth Winter Season.
This comes out of the keenness to develop the capabilities of the members and provide them with life skills that contribute to building their personality, enhancing the values of citizenship, and developing their skills in teamwork.
The forum comes in line with the strategic objectives of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation in nurturing the generations of tomorrow, reflecting the vision of Sharjah Youth in building aware and influential generations capable of achieving excellence and positive impact in society, amidst the lively and inspiring natural atmosphere.
The forum, which is held over three consecutive days at the Rubu' Qarn Life Skills Centre, is a golden opportunity for Sharjah Youth members to explore their potential, invest their energies, and acquire the personal skills and survival and resilience skills necessary to optimally deal with the challenges of the future, through a package of exceptional programmes and interactive activities that hone their creative skills.
During the forum, participants will have a rich experience that combines adventure, creativity and challenge, and will provide them with fun and benefit, through a group of attractive activities, most notably, psychological barrier-breaking games to enhance self-confidence, specialised training on how to set up tents in the wild, in addition to an astronomical evening accompanied by an expert specialised in astronomy, as well as competitive competitions to develop cooperation, teamwork and creative thinking skills.
