Sharjah24: The Archery Team of the Sharjah Women's Sports Club achieved outstanding success at the Georgia International Open Archery Championship, bringing home a total of 14 medals. These comprised 8 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals. The championship, which saw the participation of distinguished teams from Georgia (the host), Kazakhstan, and Armenia, provided a valuable platform for our team to demonstrate their skills and sportsmanship.
Notably, the players Mona Al Sharaa, Jannah Abdullah, Mira Al Sayegh, Shahad Robari, Sarah Al Mazmi, Amna Al Awadhi, Nouf Abdullah, as well as the doubles team of Janna Abdullah and Rima Al Sayegh, secured the eight gold medals. Furthermore, Shahad Robari, Amna Al Hammadi, and Hind Rashidi clinched the three silver medals, while the bronze medals were earned by Fatima Al Belushi, Maha Al Hosani, and Mira Al Sayegh.

The championship served as the initial phase of preparation for the upcoming season's competitions, following an intensive open training camp in Sharjah. The team's participation showcased their dedication and commitment to honing their skills, setting the stage for future challenges and successes.

The team, comprising 15 players, namely Marwa Omar, Jana Abdullah, Fatima Ahmed, Fatima Al Balushi, Maha Al Hosani, Mira Al Sayegh, Noura Al Mazmi, Sarah Al Mazmi, Nouf Abdul Wahid, Hind Rashid, Amna Al Hammadi, Mona Faisal, Shahd Jawhar, Amna Al Awadhi, Rima Al Sayegh, and Rasha Ahmed, was supported by a proficient technical and administrative staff including Coach Zohra Taqeva, Coach Tseko Butrkadze, Therapist Maria Christina, and Administrator Rawda Al Jasmi.

Mai Al Amri, the club’s deputy director, emphasized the significance of the team's participation in the Georgia Championship as a vital component of their preparations for the forthcoming season. She commended the exceptional performance of the young players in the team, who are aged under 12, 15, 18, and 21 years old, marking a promising start for the team as they embark on the new season with optimism and determination, supported by the club's unwavering commitment.
