Ministry of Infrastructure announces closure of Al Badia Bridge

Alternative route via Al Suyoh Suburb tunnel

To facilitate traffic flow during the closure, vehicles will be diverted to the Al Suyoh Suburb tunnel, continuing on towards the Eastern Mleiha Road. Motorists are advised to follow traffic signs and alternative routes to avoid congestion.

Closure duration: August 23–25

The closure will begin on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1:00 AM, and will continue until Monday, August 25, 2025, at 5:00 AM. The Ministry urges all drivers to plan their journeys accordingly and cooperate with traffic authorities to ensure safety and reduce delays.
