Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club received, on Thursday, a delegation from Sharjah Women’s Sports, led by Hanan Al Mahmoud, Vice President; Mai Al Ameri, Deputy Director; and Balqis Al Shehhi, Head of the Individual Games Department.
They were received at the club’s headquarters by Ali Muhammad bin Yarouf Al Naqbi, Secretary General, and Muhammad Ali Al Talie Al Dhahouri, Chairman of the Club’s Individual Games Committee.
The visit discussed ways of coordination and cooperation to develop the efforts of Emirati women in various sports, in addition to reviewing the capabilities available in the club and how to benefit from them to support women’s sports. The visit also discussed the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of the Sharjah Women’s Sports, to transfer female athletics and jiu-jitsu players to women’s sports, which consider “Emirati Sportive Woman” a role model in belonging, facing challenges, and advancing progress towards a brighter and more prosperous future.
At the conclusion of the visit, Al Talie praised the importance of the visit, which is an important step to enhance cooperation to contribute to the creation of an integrated, cultured sports community.
