The event highlights the success of projects for productive families, and supports government and development aspirations, to enhance community and institutional partnership to advance Emirati families, and encourage different groups to contribute positively and influentially. It also activates productive families’ role in achieving their economic stability by finding alternative sources of income. The exhibition also aims to empower low-income families displaying their products, and highlighting their creative abilities in promoting their personal projects, in an effort to achieve self-reliance in financial income and enter the productive labour market.
The exhibition included a wide range of distinctive home-made production goods.
The event reflects the department’s role and its ongoing partnership with the Department of Social Services in supporting these families and empowering them economically, socially and developmentally.
The exhibition was accompanied by a number of activities, most notably a decoupage workshop.
